Description
At BrotherWelles, we're seeking passionate individuals with a sports background (hockey and/or lacrosse preferred) to join our expanding team. As an Event Sales Representative, you'll have the exciting opportunity to showcase and sell our BrotherWelles hats and ties at various sporting events across the New England area, including Massachusetts, Rhode Island and Connecticut. This role is perfect for someone who loves the sports world, enjoys meeting new people, and is excited to represent a growing brand.
Preferred START DATE: MARCH 21, 2025
Event Schedule: Work 3-4 weekends per month, depending on the season.
Event Locations: Primarily at ice rinks and lacrosse fields for 2-3 day tournaments, running from Friday to Sunday, with occasional events on Mondays. Hours are typically from 7 AM to 6 PM, with a half-day on the third day.
Sample Weekend Schedule:
Friday: 12:00 PM -7:00 PM
Saturday: 7:00 AM - 6:00 PM
Sunday: 7:00 AM - 6:00 PM
Responsibilities: Drive sales by engaging with customers, including athletes and families, and offering excellent service. Represent the BrotherWelles brand with professionalism, enthusiasm, and energy. Help create a memorable experience for our customers, both young and old.
Who We're Looking For: Must be respectful, responsible, and friendly, with a strong ability to connect with customers.
Sales Experience: Prior face-to-face sales experience is preferred, especially in a sports-related environment.
Athletic Background: Ideal candidates will have a background in hockey and/or lacrosse, or varsity level sports.
Requirements: Minimum of a high school diploma. College degree preferred.
Access to a reliable car for event travel. SUV preferred.
Strong enthusiasm for the BrotherWelles brand and providing exceptional customer service.
