Part-Time Personal Assistant & House Sitter – North Austin @DCG Arts

I am a busy professional and frequent traveler seeking a sharp, proactive, and dependable college student to help manage my household in the Domain area. This role is ideal for someone who can work independently and handle personal logistics during my travel transitions.

Key Responsibilities:

Home Prep & Maintenance: Stocking groceries and prepping the house for my return from trips. This includes scheduling and coordinating with housekeeping services to ensure the home is ready upon arrival.

General Errands: Local errands (dry cleaning, mail, returns) around North Austin.

House & Pet Sitting: Caring for an energetic dog and staying at the house while I am traveling.

Note: He is active but requires daily medication; reliability with his routine is essential.

Travel Coordination: I typically provide 2+ weeks' notice for travel dates. If you are unavailable for a specific window, you will assist in identifying a trusted substitute.

Schedule & Location:

Hours: Roughly 15-20 hours per week.

Location: Primarily The Domain area. Being local is a plus.

Availability Note: This position runs through May. The role will be on hiatus from June 1 through October 1, resuming for the fall season.

Flexibility: Happy to work around your class schedule.

Qualifications:

Student Status: Currently enrolled at UT Austin, ACC, or a local university.

Reliability: Must have your own transportation and pass a background check.

Holiday Availability: Preference for someone available during university breaks (excluding Christmas/New Year's).

Compensation:

Hourly Rate: $22.00 - $25.00/hr.

Overnight Sitting: $60.00 - $75.00/night.
