Legal Professionals at Bank Rifkin work on financial documents and legal documents, talk to clients, mediators, financial experts, and other lawyers, improve their technical and writing skills, and learn about the business and profession of practicing law, all working under the guidance of Bank Rifkin professionals. As a Legal Professional, a typical day might include the following:
- Attending telephone, Zoom, and office conferences to understand client issues;
- Analyzing financial documents and compiling net worth statements;
- Tracking discovery and organizing the production of financial information;
- Attending meetings and calls with other lawyers and clients;
- Creating detailed financial models (net worth statements, income analyses, and expense analyses); and
- Creating the end deliverables for clients or other lawyers (subpoenas, discovery requests, mediation summaries, financial analyses, letters, briefs, and motions);
- Assisting with branding and marketing projects;
- Helping to manage, maintain, and improve Bank Rifkin software systems;
- Developing, implementing, and maintaining firm knowledge base and automation software; and
- Helping run Bank Rifkin professional affiliations and organizations on which our attorneys serve on boards or as officers of the organizations.
Our Legal Professionals are part of a firm where the culture and exceptional client service is inspired from leadership down. Legal Professionals will interact with senior professionals, firm vendors, and clients on a regular basis.
Qualifications:
- A BA/BS degree;
- Preferred (but not required) coursework in Accounting, Economics, Finance, or a related discipline;
- Strong academic record;
- Excellent Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) skills;
- Relevant internship and/or extracurricular related experiences;
- Strong analytical, verbal, technical, and written skills;
- Superior communication and interpersonal skills;
- Must be eligible to work in the US, without employer sponsorship, at the time of hire and in the future.

We prefer that our Legal Professionals work in person in our office, but work-life balance is important to us and we want our employees to have balanced lives, which is why we have a discretionary time off policy for all salaried exempt employees. This gives you the ability to take time off as appropriate.
