Mandarin Teacher Needed for Play-Based Learning Group in Brooklyn @Private Employer

Hello,

We are looking for a warm, reliable, Mandarin-speaking education student to lead a small, in-person learning group for three elementary-aged children in Brooklyn.

Our goal is to create a Mandarin learning playgroup where the kids build language skills and cultural awareness while having fun. Think games, movement, creativity, and conversation. For example, playing Guess Who to practice descriptors and colors, or other playful, interactive activities.

Who we're hoping to find:

* A current education student or future teacher
* Native or fluent Mandarin speaker
* Comfortable working with multiple children in a small group
* Patient, engaging, and dependable
* Interested in using modern, play-based teaching methods

Details:

Location: Brooklyn, NY

Format: In-person private group

Students: 3-4 elementary-aged children

Schedule: Flexible (to be discussed) but ideal candidate available on Friday afternoon around 3:30. Start Date 1/9/2026

Pay: $100 an hour
