Part-Time Babysitter/Nanny Needed - Weekday Afternoons, Starting September (Park Slope/Prospect Heights)

We're looking for a caring, responsible, and reliable babysitter to support our family on weekday afternoons with our two children-our daughter (3.5, entering Pre-K) and our son (6, entering 1st grade).

Key Responsibilities:
- School pick-up at 2:30 PM and afternoon care until 6:30 PM.
- Take kids to/from local extracurriculars.
- Create a fun, nurturing environment and help with light homework.
- Assist with bath and evening routine.
- Help with simple snack/meal prep.
- Light household support: tidying play areas, kids' laundry, etc.

Ideal Candidate:
- Warm, patient, and dependable.
- Familiar with Brooklyn and confident navigating the area with kids (walking and public transportation)
- Punctual, proactive, and communicative.
- Able to commit to consistent weekday coverage during the school year.

Nice-to-Haves:
- Flexibility for occasional sick days and/or school closures.
- Open to occasional extended evenings or weekends with advance notice.

Schedule & Start Date:
- Weekday afternoons starting in September (flexible for late Aug/early Sept start).
- 20+ hours/week (potential for more).

Compensation:
- Competitive hourly rate based on experience ($30/hour).

About Us:
We're a fun, creative, and active family in Prospect Heights. Our kids are curious, playful, and love being outside, doing art, dancing, and music. Both are potty trained. We've been lucky to have had the same amazing nanny for the past six years and are excited to welcome someone new into our family.
