Description
We are in the final stages of renovating a luxury rental property in Calavera Hills and need a "Project Ninja" to help manage the furnishing stage. Most of the heavy lifting (sourcing large furniture) is done, but the magic is in the details. Hiring someone to manage the chaos of deliveries, style the space to look "Pinterest-ready," and help transition the home into an active corporate rental.
The "To-Do" List
This is a hybrid role that covers logistics, design, and light property management:
Logistics & Order Management: Tracking incoming orders, coordinating delivery windows, and being on-site to receive packages. Identify and coordinate with local help to move, place, and assemble furniture.
The "Unboxing" Phase: Assembling small items, breaking down a lot of cardboard, and ensuring the house is clutter-free.
Sourcing & Styling: Finding the "finishing touches" (art, rugs, plants, decor) at local shops or online. Placing decor and styling the home for professional photos.
Stocking & Organizing: Setting up the "essentials" (kitchenware, linens, toiletries) so the home is turnkey for a tenant.
The Ideal Candidate
The "Eye": You have a strong sense of interior styling and know how to make a room feel "finished."
The "Hustle": You aren't afraid to roll up your sleeves, move a chair across a room, or spend an afternoon at HomeGoods or Target.
Tech-Savvy: Comfortable using apps to track orders or communicate with me via photos/video.
Reliable Transport: You'll need a vehicle for errands and getting to the property.
Schedule & Timeline
Start Date: 03/20/2026
Duration: This is an intensive project for the next Number weeks, with the potential for ongoing property management or "reset" work between tenants.
Hours: 10-15 hours per week, flexible but requires being available for delivery windows and within 15 miles of Carlsbad.
How to Apply
Please send a brief note about your experience with design or organization. If you've ever furnished a space or managed a project like this before, tell me about it! Bonus points if you include a photo of a space you've styled.
