POSITION: 40 Hour Personal Banker

SALARY RANGE: $42,000 - $50,000
($20.20 hourly - $24.04 hourly)

Job Description: Personal Bankers assist customers with their banking needs such as:
- Recommending and explaining banking services and products to customers based on their needs.
- Managing customer bank accounts, including opening and closing accounts and overseeing transactions.
- Referring customers to in-house financial experts and/or relevant bank departments, such as commercial, residential, and mortgage loans.
- Presenting and selling banking services and products to existing and prospective customers.
- Preparing documents to open and close accounts, including obtaining signatures, and assigning account numbers.
- Verifying bank account details upon customer request.
- Discussing bank policies and procedures and any changes affecting policies and procedures, with customers.
- Resolving customer queries and complaints.
- Performing administrative duties, such as account maintenance.
- Cashes checks within assigned limits and following Check Cashing Policies.
- Receives cash and checks for deposit, verifies amounts, and looks for check endorsements.
- Prepares daily settlements of teller cash and proof transactions and balances as required.

JOB SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

- High school diploma and cash handling experience
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to multi-task and work effectively to meet required deadlines
- Ability to learn quickly and apply that knowledge
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Friendly and pleasant personality
