Afternoon Childcare Buddy for 6 year old Autistic boy @Charlottesville Family

Looking for a loving, energetic, and physically capable person to support a 6-year-old boy with Level 3 (Profound) Autism. We are looking for a "buddy" to engage him in his favorite activities-reading books, playing in the yard-while assisting with daily living skills (eating, grooming, dressing, and bathing).

Schedule:
Options: Monday-Thursday (2:00 PM - 6:00 PM) OR Sunday-Thursday (2:00 PM - 6:00 PM).

The Shift: During the week, from 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM, the mother and a full-time nanny will be present. At 4:30 PM, the full-time nanny departs, and you will be the primary support for our son until 6:00 PM.

Note: There is also a 4-year-old daughter in the home.

Requirements:
Special Needs Experience: Preferred. Our son is nonverbal, and we are looking for someone who is comfortable with alternative communication and high-support needs.
Physical Strength: Must be able to lift at least 65 lbs and keep up with an energetic child.
Maturity: Must be at least 18 years old.

Compensation:
Pay is negotiable, starting around $20/hour based on experience.

Location: North side of Charlottesville.
