Description
We are a Christian homeschool family in Cookeville looking for a reliable part-time mother's helper to join our weekly rhythm.
For the right person, our schedule can be somewhat flexible.
Preferred Schedule:
Monday, Wednesday, and Friday
10:30 AM-2:30 PM
Approximately 12 hours per week
A parent will usually be home. This is not full-charge solo nannying. We are looking for someone who can help support the household while homeschooling is happening.
Main responsibilities include:
Engaging younger children while school is taking place
Helping with lunch
Light kitchen reset/tidying after meals
Helping maintain a peaceful, productive household rhythm
Occasionally helping with baby/toddler needs as appropriate
The ideal candidate is dependable, patient, cheerful, comfortable around young children, and willing to jump in where needed. Prior babysitting, church nursery, large-family, or childcare experience is a plus.
Because this role takes place in our home during our homeschool day, applicants must be comfortable working in a Christian family environment and respectfully supporting a biblical approach to education and family life.
This could be a great fit for a Tennessee Tech student.
Pay: $16-$20/hour depending on experience.
References required. CPR/First Aid is a plus but not required.
If interested, please message us with a brief introduction, relevant experience, availability, and references.
