About Us: We are a loving family seeking a reliable and nurturing babysitter/nanny to care for our energetic and fun-loving 1.5-year-old son. We value creativity, safety, and a strong focus on developmental play, and we're looking for someone who shares these values to support us during our busy days.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Play & Engage: Spend quality time with our child, engaging in age-appropriate activities that promote physical, emotional, and cognitive development. This includes reading, and interactive play both indoors and outdoors.
Meal Assistance: Help with meal preparation and feeding, ensuring our child receives meals and snacks. Encourage self-feeding skills and assist with cleanup after meals.
School Readiness: Help get our child ready for school on designated mornings. This includes assisting with dressing, and fostering a positive morning routine.
Nap Time: Monitor nap times, providing a calm environment, and ensuring that our child follows a consistent sleep schedule.
Safety First: Maintain a safe and secure environment, supervising our child at all times.
Communication: Provide updates to parents regarding the child's activities and overall well-being throughout the day.
Qualifications:
Experience caring for toddlers, with references available.
Basic understanding of child development and age-appropriate activities.
Comfortable with light housework related to the child's care (cleaning up after meals, toys, etc.).
A positive attitude, patience, and a nurturing demeanor.
Schedule:
Weekend help with flexible hours and additional hours as needed during school holidays
Compensation:
Competitive pay, commensurate with experience.
