Part Time Nanny or Manny Needed - MWF 11-3 @Ashleigh Stafford

Do you love working with and being around kids? Are you interested in child development or education? If so, we are looking for a responsible, morally exemplary nanny or manny to look after our one year old son at our home in Harker Heights. I work remote, but need someone to watch him while I work from my home office. Job would start mid January. Hours are 11AM to 3PM on Monday's, Wednesday's, and Friday's (flexible if these times do not work for you 100%). There are sometimes additional opportunities to work additional days or hours. He attends a Mother's Day Out program on Tuesday's and Thursday's, but they follow the KISD school calendar and are closed when schools are not in session. Additionally, sometimes I have meetings that are scheduled later, and will need coverage during those. (Requests for additional hours or days are made usually 2 weeks or earlier before needed). He is generally a happy and chill kid and this is the BEST time of the day.

Schedule:
- Arrive at 11AM - Usually he is still sleeping at this time or just waking up. If he is still sleeping, I will bring you the monitor so you can keep an eye/ear out for him to wake up.
- Give snack - I will have snacks out for you.
- Playtime - We have a ton of toys, but always open to new ideas or activities.
- Feed lunch - I will have his lunch prepped, and all you will need to do is heat it up and give to him in his high chair.
- More play. If weather is nice I am also ok with you taking him on a walk in our neighborhood.
- Leave at 3PM - I will come out of my office and get him so you can leave for the day. Updates are greatly appreciated.

Changing diapers is necessary, so if you are not comfortable with dirty diapers, this job is not for you.

We have 3 dogs, but none of them will be your responsibility. Sometimes one or two might be out while watching the baby, but I try and have them all put up before arrival since they all bark and the baby is usually still sleeping.

CPR Certifications are a plus, but not a requirement. (I am not CPR Certified, but have a Life Vac)
First Aid Certifications are a plus, but not a requirement.
Previous child care experience is also a plus, but will also consider care of siblings or own children as experience.

Must demonstrate traits like reliability, trustworthiness, and good communication.

Preferred applicants are competent, organized and kind.

Job pays $15 per hour cash.
