Job Description: Herd & Grace - Retail Sales Associate
Location: 11021-B West Pico Blvd. Los Angeles, CA 90064
$20.00-$25.00/HR - Plus, the potential for majorly discounted premium steaks.
Competitive Commission Program offered.

Store Hours: Monday-Saturday: 10AM-7PM. Sunday: 11AM-6PM. This schedule may vary due to store and company needs.

At Herd & Grace you'll get to talk about our premium proteins, which are only found in Michelin-Rated Restaurants and Five-Star Steakhouses, with each customer. If you love food and steak, you'll have the opportunity to share your passion and get customers excited about our unique products.
Your knowledge of food will help to create memorable experiences that achieve the highest level of guest satisfaction in our store. We want each guest to feel like they have had an experience similar to a 5-star restaurant in terms of service and ambiance!

The Day To Day:
-Develop an exceptional familiarity of the Herd & Grace brand along with comprehensive product knowledge.
-Understand that the guest is the center of what we do.
-Work to achieve the highest level of guest satisfaction and sales objectives.
-Operate the retail cash register system. Capture proper sales information for all transactions.
-Opening and/or closing the store may include nightly deposit and securing the store.
-Stock freezer, perform physical inventory, and follow all inventory procedures.
-Keep the shop clean and organized at all times. Maintain general housekeeping and sanitation standards in compliance with store policy and state and local health regulations on a regular ongoing basis.
-Willingness to go above and beyond
-May be required to package and make deliveries on certain occasions.
-Report back to management team on store performance.
-Ability to follow directions and procedures; effective time management and organization skills.
The Basics:
-Must be at least 18 years of age.
-Valid CA Driver's License
-High school diploma or equivalent.
-Positive attitude/energy
-Ability to lift at least 50lbs
-Excellent customer service and communication skills.
-Must be able to work efficiently in an independent environment
-Must be able to enter data quickly and efficiently with keyboarding skills.
-Retail sales experience preferred
-Knowledge of proteins preferred
-Knowledge of butchery preferred
-Culinary Students Encouraged to Apply.
