Job Description: SAT & ACT Question Bank Preparation (Student Role)
Position: SAT & ACT Question Reviewer / Content Assistant
Type: Part-Time / Flexible Hours
Location: Remote
Ideal For: High school students, college students, and recent graduates familiar with SAT/ACT exam content.
Overview
We are looking for detail-oriented students to support the creation and refinement of high-quality SAT and ACT question banks. In this role, you will review questions, verify accuracy, check difficulty alignment, and provide feedback to help ensure the content meets standardized testing standards.
Key Responsibilities
Review SAT and ACT Math, Reading, Writing, and Science questions for clarity, accuracy, and correctness.
Verify solutions and ensure answer choices are valid and aligned with the test's difficulty level.
Identify confusing phrasing, errors, or inconsistencies in questions or explanations.
Suggest improvements to wording, formatting, and structure.
Tag questions by topic, subtopic, and difficulty based on provided guidelines.
Provide brief written feedback for each question reviewed.
Work through spreadsheets (Excel/Google Sheets) to log comments and corrections.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Strong familiarity with SAT and/or ACT exam content.
Above-average performance in English and/or Math (SAT/ACT experience preferred).
Strong attention to detail and ability to spot errors quickly.
Ability to follow structured content guidelines.
Good communication skills for giving clear written feedback.
Comfortable using Excel or Google Sheets.
Preferred Qualifications
Prior tutoring, editing, or question-review experience (not mandatory).
Experience with competition math or AP English/Math courses.
Ability to commit to reviewing a minimum set of questions weekly.
