Product Development and Production Assistant (Entry Level)
Location: Downtown Los Angeles, CA
Schedule: Parttime, 2-3 days per week (onsite)
About Us
We are a 17-year-old fashion company based in downtown Los Angeles specializing in branded denim and privatelabel full package design and production. Our team works in a fastpaced, creative environment where precision, organization, and collaboration are essential. We are looking for a motivated entrylevel Product Development/ Production Assistant to support our Production Manager and help keep our operations running smoothly.
Position Overview
The Product Development/ Production Assistant will play a key role in supporting daytoday design and production activities, ensuring that samples, materials, and timelines stay on track. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about fashion production, eager to learn, and highly detailoriented.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Production Manager with daily tasks and workflow coordination
- Track production timelines, sample status, and approvals
- Organize and maintain fabric swatches, trims, samples, and production materials
- Communicate with vendors, factories, and internal teams as needed
- Prepare production documents, purchase orders, and data entry
- Support fittings, sample reviews, and quality checks
- Maintain an organized workspace and filing system
- Perform general administrative tasks related to production
Qualifications
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
- Interest in fashion production, denim, or apparel manufacturing
- Ability to multitask and work in a fastpaced environment
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Previous internship or experience in fashion is a plus but not required
Schedule & Work Environment
- Onsite in downtown Los Angeles
- 2-3 days per week
- Collaborative, handson environment with opportunities to learn the full production cycle
