Who is the Kollab Youth Workforce Development Program: Kollab Youth bridges the gap between under-resourced youth and high-growth career opportunities-through structured skill-building, mentorship, and real-world experience. It equips students with technical, personal, and professional tools necessary for long-term success in the workforce or higher education.

Position Overview: The Kollab Youth Workforce Development Program seeks a talented, skilled, and motivated Administrative and Outreach Intern to join our team. This paid internship offers an opportunity to contribute to our mission of empowering young individuals through program support and outreach efforts. This position has the potential to become a full-time position.

Details:
- Internship Duration: May 2026 - July 2026
- Location: Hybrid position in Los Angeles, California. Intern must be able to travel and attend in person events and presentations.
- Compensation: $20 per hour or more depending on experience, expected 20 hrs per week
- Reports to the Case Manager and Communications & Events Manager
- Kollab Youth will provide the intern with a work laptop if needed
- Mileage will be compensated for required in person events

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with student onboarding efforts
- Assist with student tracking and basic data entry
- Marketing and promotion of Kollab Youth events/programs via fliers, outreach, and presentations
- Tracking and collecting data on youth accomplishments and outcomes
- General administrative tasks such as emails, phone calls, and program content creation

Qualifications:
- Must reside in LA County
- Must be a College Senior or recent College Graduate
- Availability within, 9 AM - 5 PM Monday to Friday (Occasional In-person events on Saturdays)
- Experience working/volunteering with youth or non-profit is a plus but not required
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Basic computer proficiency (e.g., Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, Canva)
- Transportation required (Mileage will be compensated for required in person events)

- Research oriented/Data driven
- Bi-lingual, not required but a bonus

Skills/Experience you will gain:
- Experience in program management and coordination
- Strong foundation and experience in non-profits and leadership positions
- Diverse skillset from different departments (e.g., Programming, Data Analysis, Outreach, Marketing, Collaboration, Event Planning)
- This internship could lead to a full-time position

The Kollab Youth program paves the way by providing access to work-based learning, mentors, an online curriculum, and financial assistance opportunities for youth from underserved communities. The program is offered to individuals 14-19 years of age.
