IDEAL FOR STUDENTS LOOKING FOR PART-TIME WORK ON WEEKENDS
Big City Mobility is the easiest way to rent wheelchairs and mobility scooters online for both tourists and locals.
I am looking for eager couriers AVAILABLE SATURDAYS IMMEDIATELY (with more availability in upcoming months).
The role will be delivering and returning mobility aids for rent from a Times Square storage unit to tourist customers, who are often staying in a hotel nearby in Times Square or to local customers, whose residence could be anywhere throughout the city.
No car is needed. Given the convenience of our storage location, the courier will be able to deliver most orders via a 20-30 min walk and/or public transportation, and on occasion a quick Lyft ride to fulfill orders.
Key skills needed are the ability to carry a maximum of 36 lbs, creativity to determine which mode of transportation to fulfill the job most efficiently, and eagerness to make a positive impact for an underserved customer.
Given our e-commerce positioning in the equipment rental market, the candidate will be increasingly exposed to what it takes to run an online business, including digital marketing, brand marketing, unit economics of fulfillment, etc, and as business grows, he/she will have the ability to learn about operations management.
