Math and writing Tutoring in person @Claire Corbetta

Hello,

I am looking for a math and/or writing tutor for both my children (Billie will be entering 10th grade and Chloe will enter 6th grade). In person on the Upper West Side in clean doorman building, no pets, no smoking, large dining table ideal for working with both children.

I'm looking for someone to teach them together in person 1.5 hour a week for each subject, that's a total of 3 hours/week. For math, we will buy a workbook for each grade and they need supervision and explanations while they practice. For writing, they need to re-learn how to construct strong argument and organize a paper as well as develop and improve their vocabulary. Homework and weekly feedback is encouraged and expected.

Both have motivation and adhd issues so the tutor will need to have some awareness of these conditions and know how to motivate students and pace a tutoring session accordingly.

If this works out, we are open to continuing during the school year.

Pay is $75 for 90 minutes, $150 for 3 hours. Negotiable
