Job Description
The Podcast Editor Intern will be responsible for producing a polished weekly video podcast from recorded studio sessions. This includes editing audio and video content into a professional 15-30 minute episode for distribution on platforms such as YouTube and Spotify.
Responsibilities include:
- Edit weekly podcast episodes using Adobe Premiere Pro
- Clean and enhance audio using Riverside FM (or similar tools)
- Add branded intro/outro, music, and visual elements
- Format and export episodes for multiple platforms (YouTube, Spotify, etc.)
- Implement revisions based on supervisor feedback
- Maintain consistent quality, pacing, and style across episodes
- Assist with preparing and formatting content for publishing across platforms
- Support basic upload processes and file optimization for distribution
- Organize and manage raw and final media files
- Document editing workflows, file management processes, and technical production steps so future team members can replicate the process

Qualifications
- Experience with Adobe Premiere Pro (required)
- Basic understanding of audio editing
- Strong attention to detail and organization
- Ability to meet weekly deadlines
- Interest in podcasting, media production, or storytelling
