Description
About Us
We are an agile, founder-led tech startup operating in stealth mode to disrupt the food logistics and delivery industry. Instead of expensive, individualized door-to-lobby deliveries, our platform utilizes an optimized, high-density batch delivery system straight to designated pickup hubs on high-density campuses. We are launching our exclusive summer pilot program and looking for high-energy, entrepreneurial individuals to help build our local footprint from the ground up.
Position Overview
As a Campus Growth & Operations Intern, you will be the strategic brain and execution engine of our pilot program on targeted university and corporate campuses. This is a multi-faceted role designed for someone who wants true, zero-to-one startup experience. You won't just be executing a playbook; you will help write it. You will lead on-ground community marketing campaigns, conduct critical market research to determine local merchant partnerships, and ensure flawless initial delivery execution to anchor our brand's reputation.
Key Responsibilities
1. Market Research & Strategy (Online & Offline)
Merchant & Culinary Curation: Audit the local food landscape surrounding target university and corporate campuses. Identify the top 10-15 most popular local restaurants and specific "hero dishes" students and professionals crave.
Product Fit Analysis: Conduct surveys and user interviews to determine demand for fresh fruit boxes, healthy snacks, or convenient catering alternatives that current campus dining or corporate cafeterias lack.
Competitor Analysis: Evaluate existing dining options and traditional delivery blind spots on campus to help position our batch-delivery model as the absolute best alternative.
2. Marketing & Community Promotion
Offline Grassroots Growth: Execute high-visibility marketing campaigns tailored to the target audience (e.g., coordinate partnerships with student organizations, professional networks, or employee resource groups; distribute promotional and referral codes).
Digital Growth: Drive digital awareness via hyper-local campus channels (Slack communities, Discord servers, internal forums, and social media groups) to acquire initial pilot users.
Feedback Loops: Gather direct user feedback during the checkout and pickup process to help our core development team optimize our application software.
3. Operations & Early-Stage Logistics
On-Ground Delivery Execution: Coordinate and execute the physical logistics of getting meals from local merchants to designated campus pickup points during the initial high-stakes weeks of the pilot.
Logistics Optimization: Help map out the most efficient driving, parking, and walking routes on campus to minimize total drop-off times.
Qualifications & Requirements
Entrepreneurial Mindset: Comfortable wearing multiple hats, working independently, and solving messy real-world logistics problems on the fly.
Strong Communicator: Outgoing, friendly, and confident-whether pitching a student group, connecting with office managers, or coordinating with a restaurant owner.
Logistics-Ready: Access to a reliable vehicle and a valid driver's license if driving is required for marketing, deliveries.
Passion for Startups: Interest in full-stack operations, consumer applications,, growth marketing, or logistics tech.
What You'll Get Out of It
True Startup Ownership: Real ownership over market expansion. You can point directly to user growth metrics and operational efficiencies you personally generated.
Direct Founder Mentorship: Work directly alongside the founder, gaining raw exposure to real-world product strategy, building infrastructure, and launching a brand-new platform.
Flexible Hours: Easily fits around summer classes, existing corporate schedules, or other personal commitments.
Compensation:
Initial Research Stipend: A fixed baseline payout upon the successful completion and delivery of the initial campus merchant mapping and product curation phase.
User Onboarding Commissions: A flat-rate cash bonus paid out for every active user successfully placed order on the platform via your unique tracking links.
Delivery Courier Fees: Direct compensation paid out for each delivery route you personally execute during the early weeks of the pilot program, ensuring your operational time on the ground is fully covered.
Milestone Accelerators: Additional high-value cash bonuses unlocked when your campus reaches specific transaction and user density tiers (e.g., reaching 100 concurrent orders).
