Tax Preparer / Reviewer

We are seeking a Tax Preparer / Reviewer to complement our strong, mutually supportive existing staff.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare / Review income tax returns (990, 1040, 1041, 1065, 1120, 1120s)
- Identify and mitigate tax risks
- Improve processes by developing or implementing best practices
- Assist with staff relations and internal controls

SKILLS
- Proven work experience as a tax preparer / reviewer
- Excellent knowledge of tax accounting, tax compliance, and all types of
tax returns
- Knowledge of ProSeries tax software, QuickBooks, and M.S. Office
- Good at meeting deadlines and solving problems
- Professional verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to multi-task, manage, and prioritize frequently changing
situations without losing efficiency or composure.
- Analytical skills with detail orientation
- Train and develop tax staff

QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years of experience with a concentration in small
business and individual taxation
- Enrolled Agent (Preferred)
