We're a busy family of four with two parents working, and traveling for work. We have a 5yo daughter and an almost 3 yo son. Our lives are increasingly getting busier with our kids getting older with more activities, in office and work travel and have a big need for some help.
This role would start out at 5 guaranteed hours per week and will increase overtime with responsibilities as well as opportunity for date night or occasional babysitting as needed.
Our kids have big personalities, love to play outside and have big imaginations, build Lego's and magnatiles, ride their bikes, our daughters loves arts and crafts, and also have busy schedules. We're looking for someone that our kids can have fun with, can learn from, create a great relationship with but also can set firm boundaries.
Responsibilities:
Mothers helper: help tidying up, dishes, laundry, meal prep, occasional organizational projects.
Babysitter: start out with date night sitting. Increased to helping with summer camp drop off and or pick up as well as school pick up and activity drop off starting in Fall 2026.
Family will reimburse for mileage when pickup and driving responsibilities start and provide any needed car seat or booster seats.
Daughter is at an elementary school and will be in Kindergarten next year. Son is at a preschool nearby (5 min drive) from the elementary school.
Hourly rate: $30-$32/ hour
Guaranteed 5 hours a week increasing over time with summer and fall activities and need
Hours at our house can be flexible ie before or after class, etc.
Candidates must have a clean driving record, conduct a background check, be up to date on vaccines and have some prior babysitting experience.
Location: South Bellevue + Newcastle. Activities and schools are in central Bellevue + Clyde Hill
