Telemarketer- Financial Services @Allstate Financial Services

I'm looking for 2-4 college age students in UT who are responsible and would like to learn a good work ethic, build some business skills, and who would like to make some extra money. I'm willing to start with pay at $8/hr. for these individuals to make up to a combined 40-60 hours of calls for me per week, using scripting and lists provided.

If you want to make some extra spending cash for two hours of calls per day, or want more of a full-time role, and you are competent and reliable, I would love to speak with you.

Expectation for the role:
- Minimum high school diploma. Attending college a plus (this would be an opportunity to gain some business experience and reflect on your resumes before you graduate).
- Telemarketing experience a plus.
- Work with lists that have already been scrubbed for DNC (Do Not Call)
- Use approved scripts to generate interest in:
o Life Insurance
o Financial Review
o Life Insurance Review
- Expected to make roughly 30-40 dials per hour. This expectation falls if you are talking to folks regularly for 2-5 minutes per call.
- Access to Tracking Google Sheet to be provided, which you will be expected to update with each call.
- Results will speak for me, so 2-4 appointments made with interested families per every 8 hours tells me that you are doing a great job. Zero appointments tells me you are focusing on things other than dialing and talking to people.
- Basic understanding of financial concepts is favored.
- Ability to communicate and steer conversations toward appointment setting.
- Ability to smile over the phone and always seem non-threatening a must. If people are rude, you need to be able to let that slide off your back and move to the next.
- Bonus structure will be created for exceptional performers.
- Bilingual Spanish speaking a plus.
