Brooklyn family looking for a warm, dependable summer sitter/nanny for our awesome 8-year-old daughter while we spend part of the summer in San Antonio visiting family (late July through August).

This would be a great fit for a college student studying:

education
child development
psychology
speech therapy
nursing/pre-med or anyone who genuinely enjoys kids and knows how to balance fun with structure.

Weekday/full-time hours. One kid, no chaos, no elaborate parenting philosophy required - just someone kind, engaged, responsible, and comfortable keeping a smart/funny 8-year-old active during the summer.

Our daughter loves games, exploring, talking nonstop, and learning random things. We'd love someone who enjoys interacting with kids versus just supervising them.

Competitive pay based on experience. CPR certification and reliable transportation are a plus.
