Description
We are a warm Santa Monica family looking for a responsible undergraduate or grad student to help care for our three kids (ages 10, 7, and 5). We also have three gentle, friendly rescue dogs!
Why this job is great for students:
Team Dynamic: You will work hand-in-hand with a parent to "divide and conquer" the afternoon. You will rarely, if ever, have all three kids alone.
Tight Core Schedule: M/W/F from 3:15 PM to 5:15 PM (6 core hours/week), leaving plenty of time for classes and studying.
Flexible Extra Hours: Additional hours are available during the week if you are looking for more time, plus opportunities for date nights and weekend help.
Hyper-Local: Single school pick-up and all activities are strictly within Santa Monica.
Academic Flexibility: We completely respect midterm/finals seasons and adapt to your exam schedules.
Responsibilities:
-Team up with a parent for school pickup at 3:15 PM.
-Drive kids to local Santa Monica activities (mileage fully reimbursed; safe car/clean record required).
-Help with elementary homework, snacks, or light dinner prep (e.g., putting prepped veggies on the stove).
Pay: $30/hr + paid major holidays and mileage reimbursement.
Start Date: Monday, September 7th
