Position: Independent Contractor Psychometrist (1099)
Pay Rate: $25 per hour
Overview:
The psychometrist will work as an independent contractor with Dr. Husk to provide test administration, scoring, and data entry for neuropsychological evaluations. This position is flexible; the psychometrist will collaborate with Dr. Husk to plan the testing schedule 30-60 days in advance. Minimum of 2 days a week commitment, with the maximum potential for 4 days if desired.
Key Responsibilities:
- Test Administration: Administer psychological and neuropsychological tests to patients per standardized protocols.
- Scoring: Score test responses according to established guidelines.
- Data Entry: Input test data into a designated appendix and organize results for Dr. Husk's review.
- Supplemental Office Tasks: In the event of a morning no-show when a second patient is scheduled, assist with office duties such as filing, putting charts together, or proofreading while on-site. For afternoon no-shows, contractor may leave after scoring is completed.
- Collaboration: Review and incorporate notes and considerations provided by Dr. Husk for each patient, who will be interviewed separately.
Work Schedule and Flexibility:
- Psychometrist selects their own working hours in coordination with Dr. Husk
- Saturday hours may be available as needed.
- Schedules will be planned 30-60 days in advance to accommodate personal and clinical requirements.
- Opportunity for both morning and afternoon shifts, with procedures in place for patient no-shows as noted above.
Requirements:
- Prior experience administering and scoring psychological assessments.
- Proficient in accurate data entry and organizing test results.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate professionally with supervising clinicians.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Reliable communication for scheduling and coordination.
Reports to:
- Dr. Husk
Additional Details:
- Dr. Husk will provide detailed notes and relevant clinical considerations for each case ahead of testing.
- This is a 1099 position; contractor is responsible for their own taxes and benefits.
- Payment for hours worked is provided on the 1st and 15th of each month, covering the prior two-week period.
