Live-In Caregiver for Young Adult Woman with Autism - Ideal for Recent Grads in Social Work, ABA, OT, or Psychology. Paid Position.

We are seeking a warm, responsible, and patient live-in caregiver to support a neurodiverse 24 year old female adult with autism and developmental disabilities. This is an ideal opportunity for a recent graduate in a human services field looking to gain hands-on, meaningful experience in a home-based setting.

What You'll Do:
You will provide daily living support, companionship, structured routine assistance, and help with communication and independence. The household which is located in Skokie, Illinois, is supportive, peaceful, and values respectful, neurodiversity-informed care.

Responsibilities Include:
- Assist with activities of daily living (e.g., meals, hygiene, transitions)
- Provide structure and support around routines
- Facilitate communication, social engagement, and emotional regulation - Coordinate with family members and external therapists as needed
- Maintain a safe and calm home environment
- Support with community outings or appointments

Qualifications:
- Prior experience with individuals with autism, intellectual/developmental disabilities, or similar (personal, academic, volunteer, or professional)
- Clear background check
- Valid driver's license/Auto insurance
- Strong communication and emotional intelligence
- Comfort with a live-in caregiving dynamic and ability to maintain personal-professional boundaries
