Part-time offce & operations @Climate Smart Self Storage

Climate Smart Self Storage, a 683-unit facility, is located at 5412 South Bay Road, North Syracuse, NY 13214 across the road from the Delta Sonic car wash. Climate Smart rents storage units in its 4-story building that includes a vehicle Drive Thru entrance/exit that allows indoor unloading and loading of renter stored items except for vehicles and other fuel powered devices.

Climate Smart provides keypad entry to renters daily from 6 am to 10 pm. The office is open from 9 am to 5:30 pm Monday through Saturday.

A person is needed part time to a) assist and fill in for the full-time site manager, b) communicate with existing and potential unit renters, c) assist renters with move-in and management of their accounts, d) assist with cleaning and maintaining the premises, e) use MS Office and self storage specific computer applications for which training of the latter will be provided, f) assist with retail sales and inventory, g) conduct and analyze periodic surveys of local competitors, and h) assist in other self storage related customer oriented tasks.

Candidates should a) have good communication and interpersonal skills, b) be willing to work as a team member, and c) have a good job-related work ethic. Having good computer skills and the interest in improving those skills is preferred.
