Job Summary
We are a family-owned, e-commerce retailer of dietary supplements, operating in Florida since 2019. We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Fulfillment Associate to join our team working out of our home-based location. In this part-time role, you will play a critical part in ensuring that website orders are accurately selected, packed, and prepared for shipment to meet customer demands.
This role provides schedule flexibility of 8-10 hours per day (air-conditioned environment) twice a week (16-20 hours total per week). The two-day per week work options are as follows: Monday/Wednesday, Monday/Thursday, Monday/Friday, Tuesday/Thursday, Tuesday/Friday. Your choice! We offer a competitive, above-industry hourly wage, along with a quarterly bonus/profit share for associates, based on reliability, accuracy, and effective communication. This is an excellent opportunity for college students or a stay-at-home parent looking for supplemental income.
The ideal candidate will have
Attention to detail and strong organization skills.
References showing trustworthiness.
Experience in packing/shipping, order processing (any industry), or a related order processing background to assist with various tasks related to shipping and receiving. Note: Previous experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations is helpful but not required.
Responsibilities
Accurately select products from inventory and pack orders for shipment, ensuring quality control throughout the process.
Load and unload products from vehicle(s).
Reliable transportation to drive to and from the storage area back to the packing station (gas/fuel expenses are covered for the 2-mile round trip).
Maintain an organized workspace, ensuring that materials are properly handled and stored.
Assist in inventory management by conducting counts and reporting discrepancies.
Collaborate with the owner to optimize workflow and improve efficiency.
Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
Re-stock storage cabinets, shelves, and storage units as new shipments arrive (1-2 times per month on average).
Qualifications
Previous customer experience (retail/food service/or warehouse operations).
Ability to stand for 8-10 hours.
Attention to written details.
Ability to work efficiently (Must complete 100 orders per shift).
Valid Florida Driver's License with Insurance.
Fluent in English.
Read and write in English.
Proven work ethic of reliability and trustworthiness (references required).
Clear communicator with the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
Physical stamina to lift moderately heavy items (up to 50-pound boxes on occasion).
