JOB SUMMARY:
Purpose and Scope
The role is responsible for developing and leading our social media strategy. The Social Media Specialist will be the voice of Rexair online, creating engaging content, fostering community, and driving Rexair's brand awareness across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, You Tube, and Tik Tok. Looking for a candidate who is passionate about storytelling, trends and building authentic connections. Position requires candidate to be able to travel to our manufacturing facility in Cadillac, MI as needed. Reports to the Executive Director of Marketing.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute social media strategies to increase brand visibility and engagement
- Create compelling, platform specific content (including short-form video) that reflects our brand values
- Manage and grow online communities, responding to comments and messages to cultivate meaningful interactions
- Plan and maintain monthly content calendars and schedule posts using tools such as Canva and Hootsuite
- Monitor analytics, report on performance, and optimize campaigns for growth and ROI
- Collaborate with marketing, sales, and product teams on campaigns, influencer partnerships and activations
- Examine social trends while supplying fresh, creative ideas to sustain brand image
- Performs other duties as assigned by Executive Director of Marketing
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Education and Training
Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Marketing Communications, or related field preferred. 2+ years' experience in social media management or digital marketing. Marketing for CPG, health & wellness industry, a plus. Skilled in content creation, video editing, and Canva, Adobe, Creative Cloud design tools.
Knowledge and Ability
The ideal candidate for this position is a hands-on professional with excellent communication skills and a keen eye for aesthetics and brand consistency. Must have solid organizational skills and the ability to multitask. Strong knowledge of Facebook, Instagram, You Tube and Tik Tok, including best practices for engagement and SEO required. Candidate must have experience in analytics and reporting to guide strategy and improve performance.
