After-School Sitter Needed — Capitol Hill, DC @Sean and Emily

We're looking for a part-time sitter/nanny (12-15 hours/week), mainly to help with our 8-year-old son during the week. We live in NE Capitol Hill.

The main responsibilities are picking him up from school at Mundo Verde Cook Campus in Shaw. School ends at 3:30 on Mon, Tues, Thurs, and Fri and 1pm on Wed. We're flexible on how he gets home - car, public transit, or riding him on our electric cargo bike all work. Once picked up from school, we're just looking for someone to spend engaged time with him starting homework/reading, playing sports, visiting local parks, meeting up with other kids, etc., until my wife and I are done with work around 5:30/6pm.

If more hours are desired, we occasionally have evening commitments and could use some weekend coverage, so welcome someone open to additional hours some weeks; but it's not essential.

Pay: $20+/hour, depending on experience
Start date: ASAP
