Enrichment / Academic Competition / ISEE Tutor for Bright 5th Grader (Berkeley) @Lee Davis

Job type: One or two sessions/week, school year
Location: Berkeley - in-person preferred
Compensation: $45-65/hour DOE, plus bonuses

I'm looking for a tutor for my 5th-grade son to work on academic enrichment and competition preparation.

Scope: go deeper on whatever in his 5th-grade curriculum catches his interest (I'll provide the scope and sequence), and prep and submit entries for academic competitions - MOEMS, Math Kangaroo, AMC 8, Scholastic Art & Writing, PTA Reflections, science fair, and possibly facilitate a purchased structured course (Beast Academy, etc.).

Bonuses: $150 for each competition where he places or earns recognition - a MOEMS top-10% pin, Math Kangaroo national ranking, AMC 8 honor roll, a Scholastic Regional Key or better. Plus $300 if he earns 4s on 75%+ of first-semester marks.
