Schuham Builder's is a family owned and operated builder's hardware store located in Chicago, IL. We are a supplier of hollow metal doors, frames, architectural wood doors and commercial hardware.
We are seeking a detail-oriented person who is interested in building, construction industry. Having a background in construction material estimating, with the ability to build accurate cost estimates for various projects is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Develop detailed cost estimates for construction projects.
- Analyze project specifications, drawings, and other documentation to prepare comprehensive estimates.
- Maintain organized records of estimates, contracts, and correspondence related to projects.
Qualifications
- Construction estimating or a related field.
- Project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail in cost calculations..
- Communication skills, both written and verbal.
