House Manager @Family in Cold Spring Harbor

We're looking for a part-time family assistant/house manager in Cold Spring Harbor area to help with our two elementary-school-aged children and keep our household running smoothly.

The typical schedule would be:

- Monday through Friday from approximately 3:00-7:00 p.m.
- Two or three mornings per week from 7:00-9:00 a.m. to help get the children ready and onto the bus

Approximately 24-30 hours per week, with some flexibility on both sides.

Childcare is the primary focus of the role. We're looking for someone dependable, energetic and genuinely great with kids who will play with them, help with their routines, drive them to activities and coordinate playdates.

When the children are at school or otherwise occupied, the role would include family-assistant tasks such as light food preparation, household laundry and tidying, returns and errands, buying birthday-party gifts, and helping with other day-to-day household needs.

This could be a great fit for a college or graduate student, teacher, or someone with a background in education or childcare. The ideal person is playful, organized, proactive, fluent in English and comfortable taking ownership. A valid driver's license, reliable transportation and strong references are required.
