Physical Therapy Aide @Gary M. Souza, PT & Associates

We are looking for a friendly, dependable, and motivated Physical Therapy Aide to join our team in Diamond Bar. This is a great opportunity for someone interested in physical therapy, healthcare, exercise science, kinesiology, or a related field.

The Physical Therapy Aide will work closely with our physical therapists and patients to help keep the clinic organized and provide a positive experience for our patients.

Responsibilities
Assist physical therapists with patient flow and treatment preparation
Prepare and clean treatment areas and equipment
Set up therapeutic equipment and modalities as directed by the physical therapist
Assist patients with exercises and activities under the direction and supervision of the physical therapist
Help patients safely transition between treatment areas
Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming clinic environment
Assist with laundry, stocking supplies, and other clinic tasks
Provide friendly and professional customer service to patients
Follow all clinic safety, privacy, and infection-control procedures
Perform other duties as needed to support the physical therapy team

Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
Previous healthcare, customer service, fitness, or physical therapy experience is a plus, but not required
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Reliable, punctual, and able to work well as part of a team
Comfortable working with patients of varying ages and physical abilities
Positive attitude and willingness to learn
Ability to follow instructions carefully and work in a fast-paced environment
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and assist with moving equipment throughout the workday
