Join Our Family Team - Afternoon Tutor & Helper

We're a busy, friendly family in Falls Church (22046) looking for an afternoon tutor-caregiver to support our three kids (14, 12, 12). If you enjoy helping with homework, staying organized, light cooking and meal prep, and keeping kids moving through their routines, this position is for you!

We have a long, positive history with au pairs and nannies and pride ourselves on running a smooth, collaborative household. Our caregivers are treated as valued members of the team. Finalists are welcome to speak with our current afternoon caregiver, who is returning to college out of our area.

Responsibilities:
- Kind, responsible adult presence
- Homework supervision and support, especially English and French, sometimes math
- Oversight of kids' daily chores
- Transporting kids to activities and sports
- Local errands
- Light household tidying
- Basic meal preparation

Hours: Tuesday-Friday, 3:30-6:30/7:00 PM (about 15 hours/week), with potential expansion to Monday afternoons. Pay: $25/hour. Timeline: Now through June 2027, with strong potential to continue even longer for the right candidate.

Requirements:
- Legally able to work in the U.S.
- A safe, licensed driver with reliable transportation (we have a car you could use to drive the kids)
- A college student or graduate
- Responsible, organized, and substance free (including federally illegal substances)
- Must be comfortable with cats (and not allergic)
