Position Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated recent college graduate to join our team as a Digital Marketing Specialist. This person will be responsible for developing and executing a progressive social media strategy - creating engaging video content, managing our social media platforms, and generating high-quality leads through targeted digital advertising. Key Responsibilities
- Create short-form and long-form video content (Reels, TikToks, YouTube Shorts, etc.) that educates and engages people dealing with debt
- Develop and manage a consistent posting schedule across social media platforms including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, and LinkedIn
- Write compelling ad copy and design graphics to support paid and organic ad campaigns
- Plan and execute progressive marketing campaigns - starting small, testing results, and scaling what works
- Monitor analytics and performance metrics (reach, engagement, click-through rates, lead conversions) and report on results
- Respond to comments and messages to build community engagement
- Stay current on social media trends, platform algorithm changes, and digital marketing best practices
- Collaborate with company leadership to align content with company goals and compliance requirements
- Generate qualified leads through strategic content placement and paid social advertising

Qualifications
- Recent college graduate (Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, Business, or related field preferred)
- Hands-on experience with social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn)
- Ability to plan, film, edit, and publish video content independently
- Strong written communication skills and a creative eye for content
- Familiarity with basic video editing tools (CapCut, iMovie, Adobe Premiere, or similar)
- Self-starter who can manage time independently in a part-time, flexible schedule
Preferred (Nice to Have):
- Experience with paid social advertising (Facebook Ads Manager, TikTok Ads, etc.)
- Knowledge of SEO and content marketing principles
- Basic graphic design skills (Canva, Adobe Express, or similar tools)
- Prior internship or freelance experience in digital marketing
- Understanding of lead generation strategies and sales funnels

Compensation & Schedule
- Pay Rate: $25.00 per hour
- Starting Hours: 20 hours per week (flexible scheduling)
- Location: Irvine, CA
- Growth Opportunity: As lead volume grows, hours and responsibilities will increase - this role has strong potential to become full-time
