Part-time After-School Family Assistant – Upper East Side @Bernard Family

We're looking for a warm, responsible and highly organized after-school family assistant for our two children, ages 8 and 10, on the Upper East Side, Monday-Friday, approximately 2:30-6:30pm.
The role includes school pickup, getting the kids to nearby activities, snacks, homework support and keeping their afternoon routine on track.
A big part of the role is helping the kids develop good organizational habits and become more independent-keeping track of homework, backpacks, sports gear and schedules, tidying up after themselves, and getting ready for the next day. We want someone who provides structure and reminders rather than doing everything for them, and who understands that developing these habits is a learning process.
We're looking for someone dependable, proactive, naturally organized and respectful of our home, who enjoys working with school-age children. College or graduate students welcome.
