Videographer / Social Media Content Creator
Oklahoma City Area Part-Time / Contract to Start Long-Term Opportunity
We're looking for a talented, creative videographer/content creator to help take an established real estate lending entrepreneur's YouTube and social media presence to the next level.
This is not an agency position, and we're not necessarily looking for someone with 10 years of professional experience. We're looking for someone who is creative, ambitious, understands what works on social media, and knows how to make people and businesses look great on camera.
You might be a recent film/media graduate, an up-and-coming freelance videographer, or someone who has been creating great content on your own and is looking for the right long-term opportunity.
What You'll Be Doing
You'll work directly with an established entrepreneur in the real estate and private lending industry to create compelling video content for:
- YouTube
- Instagram / Reels
- TikTok
- Facebook
- Podcasts and interviews
- Educational content
- Behind-the-scenes business content
- Promotional videos and advertising
The role will include both shooting and editing, but we want more than someone who simply operates a camera.
We want you to bring ideas.
Help us identify interesting locations, shots, hooks, formats, stories and ways to turn everyday business activities into content people want to watch.
One day we might shoot a polished educational YouTube video. Another day we might visit a real estate project, film a loan closing, capture behind-the-scenes footage, create five short-form videos, or experiment with an entirely new content idea.
What We're Looking For
You should:
- Own or have access to professional-quality camera, lighting and audio equipment
- Be proficient in video editing
- Understand vertical and horizontal video formats
- Understand YouTube, Instagram Reels, TikTok and short-form content
- Have a strong eye for lighting, composition and storytelling
- Be comfortable filming both planned and spontaneous content
- Be dependable and organized
- Be willing to experiment and try new ideas
- Be able to turn longer videos into multiple pieces of short-form content
- Most importantly, bring creativity and ideas to the table
We don't care nearly as much about your resume as we do about your work, your creativity and what you can bring to the project.
The Opportunity
This is not a one-time video project.
We're looking for someone who can become our go-to video/content person for the long term and potentially grow into a much larger role as the brand grows.
There is already an established business, an existing YouTube presence, subject-matter expertise and plenty of content to work with. We're looking for the creative person who can help us package it, improve it and dramatically expand its reach.
