Working in group play with dogs requires someone with a good attitude, confidence, and patience to manage a group of dogs "off leash". Dogs are separated into 2 play areas by size and temperament. We monitor health, safety, behavior and activity levels. Managing play styles, cleaning, writing behavior notes and dog walking are all essential duties.
This is a physical job, cleaning, getting dirty and being on your feet for several hours. This requires someone able to lift 45lbs and do physical work. The duties are hands-on and can differ depending on the number of dogs we are caring for at one time. All employees must be willing to roll-up their sleeves and pitch-in where necessary because not every day is the same.
REQUIREMENTS:18+ years old, Strong dog handling skills, 1+ years of professional work experience. Reliable transportation and good attendance record. The ability to stand for up to 5 hours and to lift 45+ lbs.
SCHEDULE: We are open 7 days a week including holidays. We require all employees to be available at least 20 hours per week.
Weekends and Holidays REQUIRED!
Available shifts: Monday through Sunday (6:20am-12pm) or (2pm-7:00pm)
