Description
We're looking to hire 1-2 people for roles in our household. We can offer guaranteed weekly minimum hours if you are able to take on all parts of the job. But please feel free to reach out even if you're only interested in part of this role!

*Driver*
We're looking for someone to drive 3 kids (ages 8, 5 and 3) between home (Mission Bay) and school (on Brotherhood Way). The kids' preschool and school are next door to each other - you park once, and walk through a gate to the other school.
Morning drop-off: Pick up in Mission Bay at 7:40 AM for drop-off by 8:15.
Afternoon pick-up: Pick-up is weekdays around 4:30-5 from Brandeis School, San Francisco, and may need to be as late as 5:20 on some days, depending on aftercare classes in any given quarter.
No pick-ups on school holidays, and we usually won't need pick-ups on Fridays. We can provide car seats (to keep in your car, or travel ones if you don't have space).
If you can only do drop-off or pick-up (but not both), please go ahead and reach out.
*Mother's Helper or Household Manager*
We are looking for someone to help with household chores like:
- Dishes (unloading/loading the dishwasher; hand-washing non-dishwasher-safe items)
- Taking out the trash/recycling/compost
- Laundry
- Wiping kitchen counters and the dining table
- General tidying
- Unloading grocery deliveries
We separately have regular professional cleaners, so no heavy cleaning is needed. 5 visits/week is ideal; 3 minimum. Timing is flexible during the day.
In addition, an ideal candidate would be able to take on the following responsibilities:
- Shoulder childcare Mon-Thu between 5 and 6 PM (often shorter) for kids ages 8, 5 and 3.
- Finding contractors for and managing small household projects and repairs (e.g., fixing a door handle or a window shade, calling a plumber).
