Location: Mequon, WI 53092.
Schedule: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday: 12:30-4:30 PM, Tuesday and Friday: 8:00 AM-4:00 PM. Approximately 25-28 hours/week.The family has some flexibility with the Tuesday and Friday hours.
The youngest is also currently on a waitlist to attend preschool five half days per week. If a spot becomes available, the schedule would transition to approximately 12:30-5:30 PM Monday-Friday (25 hours/week). Opportunity for weekend hours if wanted!
Description: A warm and welcoming family is searching for a reliable, engaging, and proactive Part-Time Nanny/Family Assistant to join their family ASAP. The family has two sweet boys, ages 5 and 2.5, and is looking for someone who can become a consistent and trusted part of their family long-term. The job will be a combination of childcare and light household/family assistant duties.
The 5-year-old attends kindergarten full-time Monday-Friday, and the 2.5-year-old currently attends preschool three half days per week on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday. On those days, Nanny will pick up the youngest from preschool around 12:30 PM, bring him home for his nap, and then pick up his older brother from school around 3:00 PM. The approximate schedule on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday will be 12:30-5:30 PM. On Tuesdays and Fridays, when the youngest is home, the family has some flexibility with hours, but an 8:00 AM-4:00 PM schedule would be ideal.

Full-day availability will be needed when the boys are off school, including school breaks, holidays, and other days off. The family is looking to guarantee approximately 25-30 hours per week and will be upfront about any schedule changes. There is also the opportunity for additional weekend hours if desired!
Nanny should have a safe, reliable vehicle with room for two car seats and be comfortable transporting the boys to and from school and activities. The family is looking for someone who enjoys staying active and engaged with the children and is open to taking them to classes, the library, parks, and other appropriate age outings.
During the youngest's nap and other downtime, the family would love an extra set of hands to help keep the household running smoothly. Household tasks will include family laundry, keeping common spaces tidy, loading/unloading the dishwasher, light meal prep, organizing, running occasional errands, and helping with other day-to-day household needs.
The ideal candidate is warm, dependable, flexible, and proactive. Someone who is a self-starter, can anticipate the family's needs, is an open communicator, and is looking for a family they can grow with for years to come.
